Buying from BBCosmetic.com (Site and product reviews)

Update
***
I contacted them about writing this review, and they gave me *I think* 20% money back on my order. This is something they advertise on their site, so honestly, anyone can just write a review/make a video, and send them the link!

I also added some mini reviews on the products I bought below; it has been about a month since I started using the BHA serum.

***

I recently bought from BBCosmetic.com, and if you live in the USA, you'll be in luck! It has free shipping and they are based in the US! That means that not only will you get good deals, but you won't have to wait weeks and weeks to get your order.

I've been on the hunt for more skincare sites that offer free shipping with reasonable prices on their products. I am a huge fan of Jolse.com and Beautynetkorea.com, but I decided to give BBCosmetic.com a go.

I placed my order on April 2, 2017 and my box arrived on April 7! It took only 5 days!

I didn't realize the site was based in the US, but honestly though, the site doesn't provide any information about shipping or its location. Usually the "About me" page and "FAQ" is at the bottom of the site, but this one doesn't seem to have one.

I actually didn't order that much because I wasn't so sure about this site. My order was $21.98, and after using a coupon code (I found online on someone else's blog), it ended up being $20.22.

Everything was still well packaged and I got free samples~~

Free samples! Dr. Belmeur cream by The Face Shop.

Compared to Jolse, this sunscreen is much cheaper (around $2 cheaper)! Though Jolse no longer sells this one with the same packaging.

The CosRX A-Sol product on Jolse also costs around ~$14. When I was purchasing it on bbcosmetic, it was $13.50 (on jolse).

I've heard good things about this BHA serum, especially for spot treatments. My acne decided to stop after this product arrived, but maybe I can see if it will help with blackheads.

UPDATE:
I really like this product. I sometimes use it all over my face, sometimes as a spot treatment. Either way, I feel like my acne heals really quickly and this kills all of the bacteria. It doesn't do anything with my blackheads, but any cystic acne gets zapped. I am part of the majority that pops them, and this product will sting if you have an open pore. I had a huge zit that healed in 3-4 days. Another one, with this product, hardened up really quickly and fell off of my face on the same day.

Mini review:
- very watery
- can leave your skin sticky and shiny
- helps diminish size of acne
- good for small blemishes, but larger ones will take some time
- (so far) it seems like it works for acne that hasn't reached the surface (closed comedones, those cystic acne raging bumps, etc.)

- contains a good amount of BHA that seems to work great for me!
- it is hard to control how much product you pump out
- cannot see how much product is left in the opaque bottle

Rating: 9.5/10
For spot treatments, it's hard to pump a small amount, so you still end up using your entire hand instead of just your finger (and you end up using the remaining product on the rest of your face).

But I love it for spot treatments!

Update 2: this does not seem to do anything for my blackheads, unfortunately. I feel like they might be getting smaller, but I think that's just my eyes tricking me.

I actually have this exact same sunscreen (same packaging) right now and am currently still using it. I decided to buy the same one for my mom since she never uses sunscreen, and the weather is getting warmer.

UPDATE:
This was my 2nd bottle. It was pretty nice, but I won't go back until I find a sunscreen that I do not like. It didn't break me out and worked well with my skin. I feel like it made my skin sweat very easily in the heat, but it was fine during the winter. It still left some shine no matter how little I applied.

Mini review:
- light weight, very spreadable
- no white cast
- slightly greasy, leaves some shine
- if you use too much, it will be very greasy and look very shiny
- feels like it makes you sweat a lot in warmer weather, so it can melt off
- great for cooler weather (since you don't sweat as much)
Rating: 8/10

Overall:

I think this site can be trustworthy, and for a few products here and there, you will definitely be getting good deals (even if it's just 50 cents cheaper). The site also offers 10% store credit if you make a review on it. I have noticed that they also offer 1+1 deals which a lot of sites don't!

The variety of products and brands they offer is much larger than other sites that offer free shipping. They even offer high-end products by Son & Park, Troiareuke, Sum:37, etc. I've never heard of Nots, Oozoo, Catrin, Double & Zero before, so it will be interesting to see what kind of products they offer.

Of course, not everything is cheap on this site, but they do offer good deals depending on when you buy from there (and the time that you compare it to other sites). Because a few days before deciding to make a purchase, Jolse's CosRX honey pack was $12.80, whereas on bbcosmetic, it was $12.11. The next day, the product on Jolse went down to $12. The difference wasn't much, but since I needed to buy a lot of stuff, I wanted to make sure I was getting the cheapest deal possible.

The downside is that I am still waiting on my package from Jolse, so you might want to consider that too!

My rating of bbcosmetic.com:
9.5/10

- fast shipping
- reasonable prices
- good deals (sets, 1+1 events)
- variety of brands (high and low-end)
- pleasing site to look at

- con: not much information on the site (about the company, FAQ, etc.)

Update:
I've also noticed that there aren't that many reviews on the site. Under "Bestsellers", a lot of the products don't even have ratings! So you'll have to do some research before buying anything.

I like how the site also includes the stock number on certain products so people can make sure that their order won't get cancelled or something like that.

About that 10% store credit, I contacted the site (there's a form you can fill out) about it, and they replied the next day! Even though many stores would be closed on weekends (meaning they won't reply until the next business day--Monday), this store replied during the weekend! They are very fast with responding, so I would figure that their customer service would be fast as well. I cannot say much about any return policies, however.

Thanks for reading! If you decide to check out this site, let me know and maybe some of the products you bought!

What websites do you use to buy skincare products? (Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, etc. )

I was not sponsored; I bought everything with my own hard-earned money. Good skincare is worth it though!
