Hello Sunshine Shower Gel (Bath and Body Work Empties)

My second spiel about Bath and Body Works products (and most likely not the last).

Hello Sunshine (shower gel)

I picked this one up because I needed another item to fulfill the "buy 3 get 2 free" deal.

And I am quite glad I did (though many may not agree with me once you hear my "reasonings").

In store, I thought this smelled really nice; it wasn't too sweet or floral. It kind of matches the description on the back of the bottle quite well: "beach days and pool parties...sunny romance."

When I tried this out in the shower, it was definitely surprised and did not expect the smell of cologne. It was not the super strong smell that drugstores have; it's subtle enough and will not destroy your nose.

I honestly like the smell of cologne though. I do recall seeing Hello Sunshine at the very front of the store, at the corner in an unnoticeable place with the shelf completely stocked. I guess not that many people agree with me.

Overall:

Price: $12.50 or ~$8 for the buy 3 get 2 free deal
Appearance: just the old bottle that they had. It's newer than the ones from wayy back though
Smell: fresh and of cologne
Repurchase?: no

I would give this body wash a score of 5/10. I like it, but it did not leave a lasting impact. It was just that.

Lemon and Pomegranate Cream (Bath and Body Works Empties)

First post, first review.

Here are 2 newer scents from Bath and Body Works and my 2 cents.

First up, the Lemon and Pomegranate Cream lotion and body wash.

Shower gel
It had been a while since I shopped at Bath and Body Works. Like usual, I would just go in and go straight to the body washes (which are at the very front of the store), since I think everything else really isn't necessary.

After pursuing through some and not finding anything particularly new or enticing, I turn around and see the super chic artisan line. I have been really into lemon lately, so of course, I would pick this one up first.

Body Lotion
This smells like the most delicious, citrus fruit ever (sorry for the bad description, but I liked it). It's not too sweet, not too tart. Just right. The combination of pomegranate and lemon was divine.

However, Bath and Body Works seems to just be lacking lately. Is it just me? Maybe.

Everything smells amazing. You just need to pick up a bottle or jar or whatever, and take a sniff. But when you actually try everything out at home, it no longer smells heavenly and euphoric like was supposed to. (Though, you can't really tell what smells like what in the store since the whole store just smells like perfume or whatever you want to call it.)

No longer do you get that lingering scent after a nice, warm shower.

The lotion has a nice smell, but it did not last that long either. It was a bit too fleeting for my tastes. I also did not think the lotion smelled that great; I guess I got tired of this scent a bit too quickly.

The body wash and lotion didn't really make much of a difference to my skin either. It just stayed dry, not moisturized.

At least that is what I found with this particular body wash and lotion. Lemon Pomegranate Cream.

But if you like lotions that are not overpowering, then go ahead! This would be a good match for anyone that enjoys tart scents.

Overall:

Price: $12.50 or ~$8 if you do the buy 3 get 2 free deal.

Appearance: very nice! Sleek and easy to use. Though the cap on the body wash breaks very easily if you drop it
Smell: fruity and citrus
Repurchase?: no

I would give both the body wash and lotion a score of 6/10.
The first impression was great. I quickly got tired of the smell though.

Moving on to a lighter note...Hello Sunshine.
