YesStyle.com Beauty Haul + Mini Reviews

Today I just want to share what I got from YesStyle.com. I did not buy any clothes from this site, so this will be a beauty haul.

Edit: two years later, and I finally am adding a few reviews. They will contain my overall impression of the product (not everything has a review, sorry).

In total, I bought 4 items, but I got 3 gifts because 3 out of the 4 were products from innisfree. I also found a $3 off discount code on RetailMeNot.com.

innisfree Super volcanic pore clay mask

I am still using this product, 2 years later. I know it's expired, but I am not getting any negative side effects. The product is definitely not as creamy as it looks when I first bought it but is still spreadable if you work it in in the skin.

My overall impression is that it is a light exfoliant and will help remove any tiny blackheads. If you have a lot of medium to large blackheads and acne spots, you may not notice much from this product. It has a cooling effect which might be it working inside the pores, but my large or small acne spots were still the same afterwards. I did not think it helped heal the acne either.

The product can get annoying to wash off, but it's great that you can still move your face when it dries.

The first item I bought was this pore clay mask. I really wanted to try out a real clay mask after I tried the Elizavecca Bubble Clay Mask. This one had many raving reviews, so I got this one as opposed to the regular "volcanic pore clay mask."

I also wanted to note that YesStyle puts these labels on all of their products with the same titles and names as the ones you would see in your shopping cart on the site.

As the box says, the product is to tighten pores, remove sebum, exfoliate dead skin cells, offer deep cleansing, enhance skin tone, and provide cooling effects.

For some reason, the bottle was super dusty when I took it out of its box.

There is a "lid" covering the product, but it's not really effective in keeping the product fresh unless you keep the actual lid on. I assume it really isn't necessary to keep since it will fall super easily anyway...

The product looks very creamy, and it is indeed! Of course, it is a clay mask, so a creamy texture sounds just about right.

Many of the reviews said that this, despite being only 100 ml, will last a very long time.

Price: $20.27, but it was on a 10% off sale, so I got it for $18.81 (um, compare YesStyle's prices with other stores (don't forget shipping!!). Maybe the actual innisfree store. Calculate it including the shipping, because you could possibly get it cheaper!
Appearance: the jar is super cute! Though I wish it came with a little spatula to scoop the product out.
Smell: it's a dusty smell; I would assume that's what clay smells like.

innisfree capsule recipe pack

I didn't know that it was only the innisfree products that got gifts, but when I did, I added these two to my cart. Though they look small, you can get 3-4 uses out of them as long as you store them in the fridge after every use.

The brown one is the Jeju Volcano Capsule Recipe Pack. It is said, according to YesStyle.com, to absorb excess sebum and clean your pores and impurities while minimizing shine.

The pink one is the Strawberry Yogurt kind. The website says that this pack will help brighten your skin and "make your skin soft and moist while offering a gentle peeling effect." I'm not sure what that means, but I think it's to exfoliate your skin.

The directions for both are to apply on a clean face for 10-15 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. Though it says you can only get 2-3 uses out of it, I hear other people get much more.

This will be very nice for when you do not want to use a sheet mask (can't really move your face when you do), or you don't have much time to pamper your skin.

Price: $2.81, but after the 10% off, it was $2.61 (side note: unfortunately, the Jeju Volcano pack is no longer available on YesStyle, though they may have more in the future!)
Appearance: the capsules look super cute! I really want to find a way to reuse them. It's too bad they don't come with little lids.

Power 10 Formula VB Effector with Vitamin B6 from It's skin

I didn't feel any difference with my T-zone, it was just as oily as usual. This product left a small layer of residue that you can feel afterwards, which I didn't like. I did finish up the bottle but I did not see any changes to my skin.

***

I have heard of the brand "it's skin" somewhere before with good reviews, so I wanted to try out one of its essences.

This product is to "balance [the] skin's oil and water content, effectively minimizing sebum production...oil-free essence spreads on with ease and rapidly sinks...for an immediate hydrating effect"

This product sounds great so far! And it would be great if my T-zone would calm down on its sebum production. It hasn't been producing much oil lately (which is awesome!), but it would be great if it stays as a long-term thing!

Price: $11.90
Appearance: it's a cute bottle! also, if you cannot tell with the last picture, it uses a dropper!

Gifts

 Sofina beauté (Made in Japan)

Yes, I got this as a gift. It is a measly little product sample. I did not expect much from this China-based website, but this is quite disappointing. This is something I would find in magazines that I just get from the store, or as I have heard from many Korean vloggers, that they would just get (tons of them) for free even if they didn't purchase anything.

Anyway, the back of this packet says that this is a "whitening enriched emulsion." It's in Japanese, but according to the full product on YesStyle, I got the "light" version. There is no product description, but I am assuming it's to brighten your skin and make it healthier looking.

The full sized product is about $65 though! So I guess I should take back my disappointment from getting this sample. Though I probably won't see huge results because it's a 1-2 time use only.

Missha Geum Sul First Essence Booster

I didn't try this that much, but when I did, I didn't really feel much of an effect. My skin just felt dry the next day after using this. I never finished it and ended up tossing it (I read other reviews, and they say it was good!)

***

Yay, a full size skincare product as a gift! This one is written entirely in Korean, so I was super glad they had labels for me!

This product is part of the MISA Geul Sul Set, this one being the first.

As you can see, it has a pump. There's only 25 ml, so I do not think this will last that long.

The description box on the YesStyle doesn't say much, except that this set was "made with precious oriental enriched and extracted by gold." They also tried to get you to envision "[having] the best skin condition just like shining gold sunshine coming down to your skin."

The set of two products, both 25 ml each, is only $13. There aren't any reviews either.

I can't give a review; I just tossed this. It stung on my hand, so I wasn't putting it anywhere near my eyes.

Finally! The last gift! I immediately thought that this was a mascara, though I am not too sure. It could be for your eyelashes or eyebrows. This product is clear! I have no idea what it is; there isn't anything like it on the website. It's an eyelash serum! It took a good amount of communication (like a ton of replies and "empty" mail saying they will get back to me) to find out, but they said they reached the company they got it from, and it's a serum! Though the "stingingness" I got from it when I put it on my hand makes me skeptical on putting it on my lashes.

Hey, at least they give free shipping on orders over $25 oh it's $35 now.

I think it says "estesophy GD" on the container. Again, I can't find this anywhere on the website. The brand estesophy, according to Google, sells massaging cream.

Edit: this site has been gaining more users and receiving more reviews on their items. I want to say that it is a good site, but definitely read the reviews. I bought a few clothing items and even measured myself to make sure I get the right size (they list measurements). However, one jacket was completely different from what I expected it to be; instead of it being a nice, light jacket for spring/fall, it just felt like a rain jacket that didn't repel rain. Yeah. But the beauty products (though pricier) are reliable.

YesStyle looked like those sketchy, wholesale Chinese sites, especially with the highly priced (and unknown quality) clothing items. However, it sells beauty products! And it has other brands that I can't find on iMomoko.com. Some of the prices are much cheaper too. The only downside is that the shipping will take a few weeks if you buy from the US because they are shipping from Hong Kong. iMomoko.com, on the other side, charges $5.99 shipping, but it arrives in 2-5 days!

In terms of beauty products, I will definitely buy more from YesStyle! I really like the wide selection, and their descriptions are sometimes quite detailed and very useful! They also have a club where you can get discounts and coupons! And even though you have to buy $25 or more of items, it's not that hard to do.  $35 of items to get that free shipping now. Though it's still not too difficult, it's just super surprising considering I just bought my items a few weeks ago (I feel like they changed it because I took advantage of it).

When I received my package, it was tightly sealed in bubble wrap inside a FedEx box with another bag taped around it. It felt very durable, so rest assured that your beauty products will stay safe!

I'm the only one that reads my own blog, so no sponsors for me. I thought this would be my go-to site because of the awesome free shipping, but it turns out that the items cost more than other websites.
